The Facilities Planning Department oversees the planning, funding, and construction(modernization,reconstruction,and expansion) within the Merced City School District. 

The Facilities Planning Department interacts with Local, State and Federal agencies on all issues pertaining to planning, development, finance, environmental impact, population growth and construction.
