The Mission of the Merced City School District Information Technology Department is:
To ensure that throughout the District, information technology is well maintained, useful and available
To give students, teachers and the community the opportunity to grow; to be progressive; to do new, fun and interesting things in a safe, efficient and useful way
To provide data and the tools to do analysis, planning, budgeting, State reporting and all other District business functions in an efficient, cost effective and accurate manner
To be a world-class, data-driven school district
