On behalf of the faculty and staff, it is a pleasure to welcome you to our school’s website.  As the Principal of Allan Peterson Elementary, I come with over 10 years as a classroom teacher, and 7 years as a Learning Director/Assistant Principal.  It is an honor and privilege to serve you and your children at Peterson, and I am committed to ensuring that we provide the best possible educational experience for each and every student. 

Communication between home and school is an important component to the success of our school.  We encourage you to remain active in your child’s education.  Please reinforce the skills and procedures introduced by the classroom teachers daily.  I welcome your participation in the school improvement process.  We offer many opportunities for parent involvement including:  School Site Council, English Language Advisory Committee, Parent Passport Education Night, and Parent/Teacher Club.  Please contact our office if you are interested in attending one of the meetings.

It is our intention for every student to leave Peterson prepared for their next steps of education, empowered with critical thinking skill and equipped with a drive for knowledge.  I appreciate you input and look forward to working with you and your child in these very important first years of school.
