The Board of Education has approved a modified block schedule for all four middle schools in Merced City School District. Students will report to 1st period daily, followed by either the even or odd periods, depending on the day. MCSD’s curb-side grab and go meals are once again free to all children ages 1-18. No enrollment is required. Parents can pick up these meals at any MCSD school, effective immediately and through December 16. The USDA has authorized this service in response to COVID-19.Meals will continue to be served at the following times: Elementary Schools: 7:00-8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Middle Schools: 8:00-9:30 a.m. and 12:15-1:45 p.m.Please note, MCSD will be closed on Monday, Sept 7 in observance of Labor Day. Curb-side grab and go meals (breakfast and lunch) will resume on August 12th during either time of 7:00-8:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. every school day, at your child’s school of attendance. Parents will need to provide their student’s name and ID number when picking up meals. Your child does not need to be present.Breakfast is free to all students.
